You will need the original Registration Certificate (RC) of the vehicle, a copy of your PAN card, Aadhaar Card for ID proof, and a cancelled cheque for payment transfer. If the owner is deceased, death certificate and succession certificate are required.
Once your vehicle is scrapped, we generate a Certificate of Deposit (CoD) via the VAHAN portal. When you purchase a new vehicle, present this CoD to the RTO to avail applicable road tax concessions on the motor vehicle tax for private and commercial vehicles, as per prevailing UP Govt/MoRTH notifications.
Yes, if your vehicle is located within a 50km radius of our facility in Uttar Pradesh, our pickup service is completely free of charge. For locations beyond this radius, a nominal fee may apply which will be deducted from your scrap value payout.
The physical dismantling happens within 48 hours of vehicle pickup. The deregistration process on the VAHAN portal is instantaneous once we update the scrapping status, and you will receive your Certificate of Scrapping and CoD digitally.
A vehicle cannot be scrapped if there is an active hypothecation (loan) on it. You must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) and Form 35 from your financier and get the hypothecation removed from the RTO before we can accept the vehicle for scrapping.
